Sami Kruckenberg, Mason City Newman

The junior delivered a 19-strikeout performance in a tough 5-4 loss in nine innings to Crestwood.

Eden Ladehoff, BCLUW

A freshman, Ladehoff struck out 19 of the 24 batters she faced, allowing just three hits.

Grace Pence, Albia

Pence struck out 19 while allowing just four hits and one walk in a 6-0 victory.

Brylie Lorence, Fort Madison

The senior had three home runs and drove in seven, finishing 3-for-3 with four runs scored.

Erilea Kupka, HLV-TC

Just a freshman, Kupka showed off her power with three home runs in a 15-4 win, driving in eight.

Makinley Lutgen, Turkey Valley

Lutgen was 6-for-7 with five singles and a double, scoring three runs while driving in two more.

Bree Jessen, Lawton-Bronson

Jessen has a bright future, as the freshman looks to build off a 5-for-5 game in which she drove in four and scored three times.

Bree Mitchell, Stanton

With her three hits, including a homer, Mitchell drove in eight runs in a 14-0 victory.
