Raheem Floyd is going to have a decision to make soon. But for now, the Illinois high school football Class of 2027 prospect is enjoying the pursuit of his skills.

Floyd, a standout at East St. Louis High School, picked up an offer from Florida State recently. He holds over 20 Division I offers heading into his junior season.

Last year, Floyd recorded 76 tackles with five interceptions and 14 pass breakups while helping East St. Louis to the Class 6A state championship and a 13-1 overall record. He returned one of those five interceptions back for a touchdown.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder is considered the No. 25 cornerback by 247Sports and the ninth-best player in the state of Illinois, coming in at No. 216 overall in his class.

Floyd picked up an invitational to participate in the 2026 Under Armour All-America Game.

Other top programs to offer include in-state school Illinois along with Kentucky, Arizona State, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Ole Miss. Missouri was the first to offer, doing so back in January after an unofficial visit.

Kent State, Wisconsin, Illinois and Purdue followed with Florida State, North Carolina and Mississippi State being the most recent to seek Floyd.
