Taylor will begin his visits in early September with a trip out to Eugene to see the Oregon campus. From there, he will make stops at Oklahoma, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State and conclude in mid-October in Kentucky.
Prior to joining Link Academy, Taylor played at Shawnee Mission Northwest in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. His 7-foot-3 wingspan makes him an effective rim-protector and shot-blocker as he continues to grow into his body.
Taylor helped lead Shawnee Mission Northwest to the Class 6A state basketball championship in 2024 with a perfect 25-0 record. They followed that up with a second consecutive title this past winter, as Taylor scored 19 points with 15 rebounds and six assists in the finals after missing time with a thumb injury.
According to Rivals, he is the No. 24 overall player in the Class of 2026, and the second-best center prospect.
