Along with Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kentucky and Mississippi State have offered Igwebuike, who holds 37 offers in all. Vanderbilt was the first to offer back in April with Auburn, Indiana and Ohio State following suit.
His planned visits include Tennessee, Miami, Georgia, Florida, USC, Indiana, LSU, Ohio State and Illinois. Igwebuike is No. 177 in the ESPN Jr300 with a scout grade of 80.
Igwebuike helped Mt. Carmel to the Class 7A state championship last season, the third consecutive for the school. The only loss they suffered came to Loyola Academy before the postseason started, as Loyola Academy went on to capture its third Class 8A state title in Illinois.
In helping them to the crown, Igwebuike recorded 90 tackles with 11 for loss, five sacks and a forced fumble as just a sophomore.
