The Nebraska high school football scene will definitely have the attention of Matt Campbell and the Iowa State coaching staff.
Of the Top 10 rated Nebraska prospects by 247Sports, six of them have already committed to play for the Cyclones out of the Class of 2026. And that number was seven at one point before Alabama turned No. 1 Jett Thomalla.

Tyrell Chatman, a safety from North Star in Lincoln, is the highest ranked Iowa State commit, checking in at No. 3. He is regarded as a three-star prospect and ranked 44th at his position.
Joining him are Amarion Jackson of Millard South, Kaprice Keith out of Central in Omaha, Barry Fries from Elkhorn North, Bryson Williams of Westside in Omaha and Keian Kaiser of Sidney.
Jackson is a wide receiver, Keith is listed as an athlete, Fries a linebacker, Williams a safety and Kaiser another linebacker.
Chatman, who stands 6-foot-2, picked Iowa State over offers from Kansas State, Northern Illinois and Wyoming. He has played quarterback in high school and was a medalist at the Nebraska high school track and field championships.
Jackson and Williams squared off in the Class A state finals last year, as Millard South took the championship.
