Another day, another commitment received by Oklahoma football coach Brent Venables and his staff.
Monday afternoon, Class of 2026 linebacker Beau Jandreau was the latest to stake his claim with the Sooners, announcing on social media that he has committed to OU. Jandreau (6-foot-1, 215 pounds), who plays at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, continues a late run of momentum shown by Venables’ program.
Jandreau committed to Oklahoma over Texas and Oregon.

“This (is) the place that God has called me to come help lead and help bring OU back to its roots,” Jandreau told On3 recruiting analyst Hayes Fawcett.
Jandreau is considered a three-star linebacker recruit by On3.
Another factor in Jandreau deciding to commit to Oklahoma is that his brother, Class of 2026 safety Niko Jandreau, also committed to the Sooners, having made that announcement last month. The Jandreau brothers are twins, having helped Hamilton’s Huskies finish 10-2 last season.

As a junior in the 2024 season, Beau Jandreau led the team in tackles per game with 14.8, despite playing in just six contests. He finished third on the team in total tackles with 89, including 8 for loss, as well as recording three sacks, intercepting a pass and breaking up two more.
Jandreau becomes the 12th commitment in the Class of 2026 recruiting cycle for Oklahoma, which is now No. 22 in the latest On3 rankings. He is also the fifth player to commit to OU since June 15.
Other OU commitments in that span include Celina (Texas) quarterback Bowe Bentley, Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, Kansas) placekicker Trace Rudd, Frisco (Texas) Lone Star tight end Ryder Mix and Raymore-Peculiar (Missouri) running back DeZephen Walker.
