A quad injury may be Caitlin Clark’s current nemesis, but you can’t tell by watching her shoot. In a Tiktok video posted by Yahoo Sports on Tuesday, May 27,  and originally shared by reporter Tony East, Clark is seen calmly knocking down eight straight threes during practice.

The clip quickly spread, as fans chimed in with admiration, concern, and plenty of opinions. “8 in a row, that’s nothing. I saw Reese make 1 in a row,” one user joked, while another noted, “Still showing up to do the work 👏 she’s such a good role model.” Others focused on her mechanics: “That’s what good form looks like” and “The accuracy and form she has is perfection!”

Even with all that praise, some were quick to question her status. “She might be hurt. Can’t be running up and down the court with a quad injury,” one commenter warned. Another added, “I want her back at 100%, nothing less.”

The Indiana Fever announced on Monday, May 26 that Clark would be out for at least two weeks after suffering a left quad strain.

The 23-year-old has struggled from deep at times so far this year — but this video is a reminder of what she’s capable of. Whether it’s muscle memory, mental toughness, or a message to critics, Clark’s still out there putting in the work.

As one fan put it: “She’s always on autopilot.” Injury or not, she doesn’t miss.
