A football coach with years of experience at both the high school and collegiate level is taking over a program in Fort Worth, Texas.

A native of New Waverly, Texas, Nash had served as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Ole Miss and also was the Executive Director of Recruiting and Player Personnel at Rice University in Houston.
In addition, Nash was an assistant in the Texas high school ranks for more than 15 years, coaching at Denton Guyer, Crosby, San Marcos and Frisco Wakeland.
At Chisholm Trail, Nash replaces Ricklan Holmes, who left after one season to become an assistant athletic director with the Arlington ISD. In his one season with the Rangers, Holmes turned around a team which went 1-9 in 2023 to a 6-5 record in 2024, with the program making its first-ever postseason appearance.
Now, Nash seeks to build on that momentum with the 2025 season fast approaching. The Rangers open the season on Aug. 29 at home against Seagoville.
