The drawn out Aaron Rodgers saga has come to a close with the news that he will sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday.

While that question has been answered, we still don't know how much Rodgers' contract with the Steelers will be. We do know that he's signing a one-year deal, according to reports.

During an interview on "The Pat McAfee Show" back in April, Rodgers said he would play for a dirt cheap $10 million.

"I told every single one of the teams I talked to, it ain't about the money," he said. "I'll play for $10M's. I don't care. I never once said I need a multiyear deal, $30 [million or] $40 million. That's absolute bulls---. I said I'll play for 10. Whatever."

In the wake of Rodgers finally committing to the Steelers, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Rodgers' will be for less than $20 million.

"Money was NEVER the issue in deal with Aaron Rodgers. It was always a one-year offer for less than $20 million," Dulac wrote.

Meanwhile, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes Rodgers' deal will have a base salary of $10 million and will include incentives.

Even if Rodgers hits the $20 million mark, the Steelers are well-equipped to take that on, with Pittsburgh having $31.8 million in cap space currently, per Over the Cap.

At less than $20 million, Rodgers will cost less than former Steelers signal-caller Justin Fields, whose two-year deal with the Jets works out to $20 million annually and ranks 20th among quarterbacks in that category.

A trade for Kirk Cousins could've proven more costly than that, as the embattled Atlanta Falcons quarterback has $37.5 million guaranteed left on his deal.

We tend to believe that Rodgers was a better option for the Steelers than Fields and Cousins, which makes him a steal at the aforementioned price.
