The Miami Dolphins aren’t looking too great as the regular season rapidly approaches. They’ve suffered numerous injuries, and the list keeps growing. On top of that, the team is keeping a close eye on Tyreek Hill to ensure he doesn't suffer another mental collapse. The locker room is still working to rebuild trust in him.

“It's not just with me, it's with a lot of the guys. I'm not the only one that heard that. You guys aren't the only people that heard that," Tua Tagovailoa said. "A lot of people that follow football, that follow the Miami Dolphins, that follow Tyreek that are fans of his — everyone has seen that. So, when you say something like that, you don't just come back from that with, 'Hey, my bad.' You got to work that relationship up; you've got to build everything back up again.”

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Hill could even become a trade candidate.

“I have talked to a few teams who are at least monitoring his future a little bit. Could he be a potential trade target?" Fowler said. "Now, I know the Dolphins earlier this summer were telling teams, 'No, we're not trading Tyreek Hill.' But they just wonder, is he going to be available? It could be wishful thinking, maybe they want him to be available. But he's a player when I bring up to teams, 'Hey, who is sort of a trade target you're watching?' they bring up Tyreek Hill. So, we'll see. He's a big option for Tua, that would be a major move if they did move away from him."

If a trade becomes a reality, Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski believes the Pittsburgh Steelers could be a landing spot.

“With 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers behind center, the Steelers are all-in for the 2025 campaign. It's Super Bowl or bust in the Steel City. However, they haven't done enough to place them among the AFC's elite,” Sobleski wrote. “By pairing Hill's blazing speed with Metcalf's physicality and Rodgers pulling the strings, the Steelers may have finally moved the needle and elevated their status as a legitimate contender.”

A Tyreek Hill–DK Metcalf duo would undoubtedly be one of the most dangerous wide receiver pairings in the league. If the Steelers do acquire Hill, they’ll need to ensure his mindset is stable. This move would add yet another high-impact weapon for Aaron Rodgers—signaling that this could truly be the year, if he can lead them there.
