The Miami Dolphins have had quite the eventful offseason. Tyreek Hill has been a name consistently in the headlines throughout the summer. After his controversial comments at the end of last season, there was uncertainty about whether he would even return to the organization. On Friday, however, Hill showed signs of growth by stepping in to deescalate a fight during practice.

“Most impressive sight of today’s practice was watching Tyreek Hill carry Dee Eskridge out of the scrum with one hand. Picked him up and talked him off like a toddler,” the Miami Herald’s Omar Kelly posted.

Hill has openly committed to changing his ways and working on better handling his frustrations. However, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa revealed that trust inside the locker room still hasn’t fully been rebuilt.

“It's not just with me, it's with a lot of the guys. I'm not the only one that heard that. You guys aren't the only people that heard that," Tagovailoa said. "A lot of people that follow football, that follow the Miami Dolphins, that follow Tyreek that are fans of his — everyone has seen that. So, when you say something like that, you don't just come back from that with, 'Hey, my bad.' You got to work that relationship up; you've got to build everything back up again.”

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that teams around the league are keeping an eye on Hill’s situation.

“I have talked to a few teams who are at least monitoring his future a little bit. Could he be a potential trade target?" Fowler said. "Now, I know the Dolphins earlier this summer were telling teams, 'No, we're not trading Tyreek Hill.' But they just wonder, is he going to be available? It could be wishful thinking, maybe they want him to be available. But he's a player when I bring up to teams, 'Hey, who is sort of a trade target you're watching?' they bring up Tyreek Hill. So, we'll see. He's a big option for Tua, that would be a major move if they did move away from him."

Hill will certainly be a player to watch as the season approaches. If his relationship with the team takes another negative turn, things could escalate quickly. For now, things seem to be calm—but a rough start to the season could change everything. And if he becomes available, make no mistake: there will be no shortage of trade interest.
