The Miami Dolphins shared a clip from one of the joint practices with the Detroit Lions that supposedly showed Miami wide receiver Dee Eskridge making a great catch.
The problem is that it doesn't look like Eskridge actually got both feet down on the play — and the Lions weren't afraid to point that out.
The highlight saw Eskridge going up against Lions starting cornerback D.J. Reed on a rep that saw a pass down the sideline and into the end zone from Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Eskridge goes up and catches the football for what would've been a great snag, but it would appear he didn't get his second foot down in-bounds when he came down with the ball, making it an incomplete.
"Casual Dee Eskridge catch," the Dolphins wrote on the post of the highlight.
The Lions later responded with a screen grab of Eskridge stepping out, along with the "Face with Monocle" emoji, signifying that they weren't buying that the pass was actually completed.

The Dolphins might have been getting a little desperate to share something positive from their joint practices with the Lions after Detroit reportedly dominated the first session on Wednesday on both sides of the ball.
The good news for the Dolphins is they were apparently much more competitive on Thursday, according to Colton Pouncy of The Athletic.
That still doesn't make that a catch, though.
With the joint practices between the Dolphins and Lions in the books, both teams will look ahead to their preseason Week 2 game on Saturday that takes place at Ford Field and is scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
