The Denver Broncos already have one of the NFL's most complete offensive lines, and the team already knows who the starters are likely to be.
Garett Bolles and Mike McGlinchey will once again man the tackle spots while Ben Powers and Quinn Meinerz hold down the guard position. At center, Luke Wattenberg will likely hang onto his starting spot. But Sean Payton and the rest of the coaching staff have their work cut out for them to select the players to make up the depth behind them, and nearly all of them have a good case.
One player stands out, and that is undrafted free agent Clay Webb.
Webb would have almost certainly been selected in the draft if not for an off-the-field bullying case he was implicated in, but with that now behind him, Webb can focus on the game. There is a thought that Webb could play center or either of the guard spots if called upon and if he can show he can do that at a high level, he is going to make this squad.
Webb is on the right side of our pre-camp 53-man roster projection, but Brett Sobleski of Bleacher Report also lists him as the UDFA with the best chance to make the Broncos' roster this season.
"Clay Webb had all the makings of a potential draft pick.
He began his career with the Georgia Bulldogs. After transferring to Jacksonville State, he became an all-conference performer. He started three seasons at the collegiate level. He even performed well at the Senior Bowl.
Two things held Webb back, though. He needed to show NFL teams he can play some center and not strictly stick to guard. Also, he was a part of a federal lawsuit regarding an alleged bullying incident during his high school career, though he has since been cleared.

Webb has plug-and-play potential at guard on the field, but the Denver Broncos are currently set at both of their starting spots. If the undrafted rookie shows he's capable of backing up all three interior positions, he should be a shoo-in to make the team's roster", wrote Sobleski.
In order to keep Webb, the Broncos would have to make a difficult cut, as there are several great depth options along the offensive line on this roster. The Broncos should do what they can to get as many of them as possible back on the practice squad, but if Webb is cut, there's a very strong chance he would be picked up on waivers by someone else and his career in Denver would end just like that.
This guy is talented and could prove to be an incredible value for the team. If he's hungry to succeed in the NFL, he could be the story of this year's camp for the Broncos.
