The Denver Broncos have begun reporting to training camp and after a couple of light practices this week, the team will open its facilities to hundreds of fans for its first full practice on Friday. The season is drawing closer and fans are beginning to get that itch.
Between now and the start of the season, the Broncos will hold a total of 13 practice sessions (schedule below) and their last practice will be a joint session with the Arizona Cardinals.

Whether you're attending camp in person or looking for coverage elsewhere, these are the top four storylines to follow.
Which wide receiver is going to step up and be the No. 2 guy?
We all know that Bo Nix is going to rely on Courtland Sutton after the connection they created last season, but every team needs another go-to guy, someone to help take some of the pressure off that No. 1 wide receiver.
The Broncos have a lot of candidates to do this, but will any of them get the job done sufficiently?
Marvin Mims Jr. will be entering year three and has shown flashes of being a great option, but he hasn't done it consistently enough.
Troy Franklin came on towards the end of his rookie season last year, but can he start out that way this season?
Devaughn Vele is the answer to this question that many fans will give. The seventh-round pick stepped up last year and had 41 receptions, but does he have what it takes to be a true No. 2 guy?
Pat Bryant looks like a player who could be much better than many draft analysts thought, but he'll have to make a quick transition to the next level if he is going to be any better than a No. 3 or No. 4 option this season.
As stated, the Broncos have options at the position, but nothing close to a sure thing.
Running back situation
My stance has already been made. I believe that the Broncos should keep four running backs on the 53-man roster. If they don't, who goes? Audric Estime? Jaleel McLaughlin? It will be tough to cut either of those guys, but if the Broncos decide to keep just three running backs, it's going to happen.
Ja'Quan McMillian
It's hard to believe that there may not be a spot for Ja'Quan McMillian on this roster, but the first-round selection of Jahdae Barron made it quite difficult for him to stick around.
The Broncos should hold onto McMillian, but that doesn't mean they will. If it's determined that there won't be a spot for him on the final roster, the team should look into a trade, where at least there is some kind of return, before just letting him go.

Health at interior linebacker
This won't just be one of the top things to watch in training camp for this team; it may be one of the biggest keys of the entire season.
The Broncos, at least on paper, have a rock-solid defense. But much of that is built on the idea that Dre Greenlaw and Alex Singleton are going to be healthy and ready to go at the inside linebacker positions.
If they are, this defense is going to be mean and stingy. But Singleton, now 31 years old, is coming off a torn ACL. Greenlaw barely played in 2024 after a torn Achilles in Super Bowl 58 from the prior year nearly shut him down for the entire season.
Both players will need to prove that they are healthy and still effective, as there is a potentially serious drop-off in talent behind them.
