The Chicago Bears have the 10th overall pick, but reports suggest they are trying to move up in the draft order. They could be targeting an electric player for their offense.

The Bears hired Ben Johnson this offseason, hoping he could do for their offense what he did for the Detroit Lions. The Bears already have D'Andre Swift, D.J. Moore, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet and Caleb Williams. However, Johnson could want an elite prospect to set the tone for a new era of Bears football.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini revealed that the Bears are trying to move up and are believed to be targeting Ashton Jeanty.

"The Bears are among teams making calls in an attempt to trade up, per sources," Russini wrote on X. "Teams believe Chicago is trying to move up from No. 10 in an effort to land Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty."

The Las Vegas Raiders have long been reported to want Jeanty. The Bears would have to move up past them at No.6. However, there has been recent buzz about the Jacksonville Jaguars taking him at No.5. If the Bears want to really ensure they get him, they would likely have to move up to No.4, or offer a convincing enough package to the Raiders or Jaguars.

Jeanty was the Heisman Trophy runner-up last year and has the potential to carry Johnson's offense in Chicago. If his offense is anything like the one he had in Detroit, Jeanty could be a huge piece for the Bears.
