The Buffalo Bills made a big splash at edge rusher this offseason when they signed five-time Pro Bowler Joey Bosa to a one-year deal. The former first-round pick out of Ohio State spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Chargers before joining the Bills as their potential game-wrecker opposite Greg Rousseau.

The big concern with Bosa is injuries. He has missed eight more or games three times, including in two of the last three seasons. Bosa did appear in 14 games a season ago, though, which was the most he's appeared in since 2021. However, the injury bug has already gotten to him as they begin OTAs, according to head coach Sean McDermott.

Speaking to the media ahead of the team's first day of OTAs, McDermott revealed that Bosa pulled a calf muscle late last week and will be out for the "foreseeable springtime."

Now, the Bills are right in not having Bosa test things. The massive injury red flag with Bosa was always a factor, and keeping him from doing any unnecessary activity and potentially injuring him more is the safe thing to do.
