The Buffalo Bills are somewhat top-heavy when it comes to their star players. Josh Allen is obviously fantastic, but Buffalo doesn't have a ton of stars. That said, the ones they do have were highlighted by PFF in ranking every team's top three players. Buffalo's top three were Allen, cornerback Christian Benford, and left tackle Dion Dawkins.
"Allen earned an elite 93.1 overall offensive grade in 2024, his fifth straight season above 90.0," Trevor Sikkema writes. "Dawkins maintained his high-level pass protection, posting an 81.6 pass-blocking grade, his eighth consecutive year above 76.0. Benford recorded 0.57 WAR, sixth among all NFL cornerbacks and the highest mark among his teammates outside of Josh Allen."
One name notably left off, and somewhat shockingly so, was running back James Cook. While Benford and Dawkins are worthy selections, Cook had one of the best seasons for any running back in 2024 and led the league in rushing touchdowns. Cook continues to be underrated, and underpaid as he seeks out a contract extension.
