This Brady Quinn and that Brady Quinn are 24 years apart in age.
And if this Brady Quinn gets his wish, he'll follow in the footsteps of the man he's named after.
The 16-year old Quinn is a Class of 2028 quarterback from Naples, Florida, who recently visited Notre Dame. The Athletic detailed the trip in a cool new story.
This Quinn's father was a Notre Dame fan with the last name Quinn, and so his son wound up named after the greatest quarterback in Fighting Irish history.
"He never expected me to be a quarterback or to be this good," the younger Quinn told The Athletic. "So it's kind of a shocking coincidence that this is all happening right now."
The elder Quinn has offered his advice, according to The Athletic.
The rising sophomore hasn't yet received a Notre Dame offer, although after two visits to campus, it seems to be on its way. He already has offers from Michigan, Indiana, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Pitt and Miami.
As a freshman at First Baptist Academy in Florida, he threw for 2,549 passing yards with 33 touchdowns.
And now he's just hoping Notre Dame might find its way into his future, too.
Talk about deja vu all over again.
