The college football countdown to Week 0 continues. For some teams, it's about maintaining dominance, which is exactly what the Oregon Ducks are attempting to do. It may look slightly different for the defending Big Ten champions, however.

With a new quarterback in Dante Moore, who succeeded NFL rookie Dillon Gabriel, the Ducks hope to rely on new stars. One of them happens to be incoming sophomore tight end Kenyon Sadiq. College football analyst David Pollack has high hopes for Sadiq despite finding the end zone twice this past season.

“I got Sadiq too," Pollack said on "See Ball, Get Ball." "And, if you look at Sadiq, here’s the thing. Insane jets. Like, a guy that’s going to hit 23 miles an hour on the GPS. Like, that kind of speed at the tight end spot,” Pollack said. “(Terrance) Ferguson was a really good player and a big part of the Oregon offense. He’s gone. Like, those reps have to go somewhere."

Pollack's co-host, Brent Rollins, said Sadiq's explosiveness is what sets him apart, teasing he might be a sneaky fantasy football steal in the coming years.

“I’ve already mentioned this name when we did our fantasy draft. Fantasy tight end – Kenyon Sadiq. That’s my Oregon guy,” Rollins said. "The dude is a freak athlete. Like, he is a crazy, 6-foot-3, 250 [pounds], runs like crazy. Just an insanely good athlete. Give it to him on jet sweeps. That’s my guy.”

Singing Sadiq's praises must be good news for coach Dan Lanning. After all, the Ducks offense is going to need sparks all season long to account for the losses of Evan Stewart and Tez Johnson as deep ball threats, to name a few.

Come August, Sadiq is going to get his chance to prove he's worth the hype.
