Jordon Hudson isn’t staying silent despite criticism and all the chatter over her high-profile relationship with NFL legend Bill Belichick.
The 24-year-old former cheerleader and pageant competitor retweeted a post Tuesday, May 6, questioning whether she’s truly a “distraction” — a label given to her by former quarterback and ESPN personality Robert Griffin III.
is it a distraction for him or for us?

Griffin, 35, spoke on his “Outta Pocket” podcast and opined that Hudson’s presence is hurting Belichick’s brand. He joined a chorus of people who claim she caused the scrapping of an entire planned season of “Hard Knocks” featuring the longtime Patriots coach.
“His relationship has become the one thing he always hated as a coach,” Griffin said, describing it as a “distraction” to Belichick’s involvement with University of North Carolina Football.
Griffin said, "You're telling me that this 24 year-old woman Jordan Hudson was speaking for 73 year-old, 6 time Super Bowl winning head coach Bill Belichick -- on his book tour? Ok now I mean I've had enough...listen I think love is love...but my God."
Hudson reposted a user who asked Griffin if the real distraction was “for him or for us?”—a pointed jab at the criticism she’s getting. Griffin responded, "For everybody."
This latest social media moment follows waves of headlines linking Hudson to Belichick’s recent business moves. Reports claim she forced her way onto a Super Bowl Dunkin’ ad featuring Belichick and interrupted a “CBS Sunday Morning” interview taping when the coach was asked how the two met. Despite pushback from Belichick’s family and critics, the couple appears unfazed.
The two met on a flight in 2021 and went public with the relationship last year. Belichick, 73, was previously married and has three adult children. Critics say he’s handed off his brand to someone with no experience — but Hudson seems ready to prove them wrong.
