Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Lauren Chan brought a magnetic presence to the Swimsuit Icons Hall of Fame gala, where she presented a major honor to longtime SI swimsuit editor MJ Day.
Chan rocked a tight black Cavalli dress that really showcased her figure with a deep neckline and sheer off-the-shoulder sleeves. It hit just above the knees and hugged her curves, mixing classy and sexy. She finished off the look with a shiny silver purse.
Social media ate it all up with fans praising the styling. One of them wrote, “This BAG & look 👏👏👏,” while many others complemented her curvy figure and her purse, which bore a more than passing resemblance to a woman’s bust. Meanwhile, Chan’s fiancée Hayley Kosan left a comment saying “Awooogah,” indicating her approval.
On the Instagram post from Friday, May 30, Chan wrote, “An honor to present an award at the Swimsuit Icons Hall of Fame gala to the incomparable @mj_day!” She also mentioned sharing a laugh with fellow honoree Megan Thee Stallion, a moment that added a lighthearted touch to the night.
The evening celebrated MJ Day’s impact as the creative force behind SI Swimsuit, where she’s worked to increase “inclusivity” and to honor the call for “all bodies and all identities" in the pages of the magazine. Chan, 34, is the first out lesbian SI cover model and her appearance added star power and style to the occasion.
