The Indiana Fever’s game against the Connecticut Sun on Friday, May 30, was very close at the end, but had a disappointing outcome for the Fever with a final score of 85 to 83. Nevertheless, Fever guard DeWanna Bonner is staying positive.
Bonner took to Instagram on Saturday, May 31, to share her outfit of the day. She wore an all-yellow ensemble, complete with a sleeveless shirt that showed off her toned physique along with a pair of high-waisted pants. She finished off the look with a pair of high heels and gold jewelry.
“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” 🍋 💛,” she captioned the post, which got a lot of love from fans.
Standing at 6’4”, she is one of the tallest players currently playing for the Fever. She recently celebrated an important career milestone as the first player to reach 7,500 points, 3,000 rebounds, and 1,000 assists in WNBA history.
This is Bonner’s first year with the Indiana Fever after being drafted to the team in February of 2025. She’s been in the WNBA for 15 years.
While the season is still early, she already appears to be adjusting well to her new team and has shown that she’s not hesitant to become a dominant scorer, especially in the wake of her teammate Caitlin Clark’s recent injury.
