The Cleveland Browns have perpetually been in headlines in large part due to their four-way quarterback battle between Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, Joe Flacco and Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders seems to be behind the likes of Pickett and Gabriel, as those two had the majority of pass attempts during the spring program. In light of this, appearing on ESPN Cleveland, Browns Hall of Fame left tackle Joe Thomas shared some simple and stern advice.
"Keep your mouth closed, and your eyes and ears open," Thomas said.
Sanders' mouth is all but certainly the reason he slipped from being a consensus first-round pick all the way to the fifth round where the Browns finally selected him, doubling up on quarterbacks after already selecting Gabriel. As we get closer to camp and seeing Sanders on the field during the preseason, speculation and wonder will grow as to when he will take his first snaps in the regular season as the Browns' quarterback.
