NRL tips for this weekend: Betting preview, predictions and odds for Round 11 image

The Sporting News delivers its predictions and best bets for select Round 11 matches in the NRL— all odds per bookmaker Sportsbet.

Bulldogs vs. Roosters prediction, tip, best bet

This should be a good one.

Last week, the Bulldogs completed a remarkable recovery against the Raiders to maintain their spot at the top of the ladder.

Now they'll take on a Roosters team fresh off a bye, and riding a two-match win streak.

The Tricolours will also be boosted by the return of experienced forward Lindsay Collins, who is set to come off the bench.

In what is likely to be a physical encounter, the Roosters' freshness following a week off could give them the edge.

Prediction: Roosters by 2

Best bet: Roosters 1-12 ($3.70)

Sharks vs. Storm prediction, tip, best bet

Cronulla is never an easy place to go as a visiting team, so the Storm will have their work cut out for them.

Craig Bellamy's side were at their scintillating best in Round 10 as they crushed the Tigers 64-0, but this match will be an entirely different challenge.

The last time Melbourne played at Shark Park, they fell 28-6.

Considering how Cronulla played against Manly last week, the Storm will need to bring their A-game to knock off the home side.

We're predicting a tight, low-scoring affair in hostile conditions.

Prediction: Sharks by 4

Best bet: Sharks to win ($2.44)

Broncos vs. Dragons prediction, tip, best bet

The Dragons' season threatens to unravel if they record a fourth consecutive loss, and they've got a tough task ahead of them on Sunday.

While the Broncos have been somewhat underwhelming, they have the potential to blow teams away on the day, considering the talent in the team.

Ezra Mam may struggle to hit the ground running in his NRL return, but with Adam Reynolds by his side, Brisbane no doubt have the superior halves combination compared to their opponents.

It's hard to make a case for the Dragons snatching a win at Suncorp.

Prediction: Broncos by 14

Best bet: Broncos to score first and win ($1.79)

Tigers vs. Rabbitohs prediction, tip, best bet

The big question here is how the Tigers will respond following their recent shellacking at the hands of Melbourne.

Their opponents, the Rabbitohs, proved once again last week that they will never say die, so this could be a gritty affair.

It's worth noting that the Bunnies have won four of their last five encounters against the Tigers, with three of those victories at a 13+ margin.

A big win doesn't seem likely this time around, considering recent form.

This match could be close, but Souths are slightly more trustworthy.

Prediction: Rabbitohs by 2

Best bet: Either team by 8 or less ($2.18)
