Underrated Titans forward set to miss rest of the season due to knee injury image

Gold Coast Titans forward Jaimin Jolliffe will play no further part in the 2025 season after scans confirmed a PCL injury.

The 27-year-old’s absence is a major setback for the side’s middle rotation, with his work rate and consistency often going under the radar.

The news comes as Justin Holbrook’s men prepare for Saturday’s clash with the Warriors at Cbus Super Stadium, where they will at least welcome back Jojo Fifita from an ankle sprain and Brian Kelly after his concussion stand-down.

Reinforcements and setbacks

While Jolliffe’s loss will sting, the Titans will be boosted by Klese Haas returning to the forward pack. Meanwhile, Carter Gordon, whose career was in doubt earlier this year due to a cerebrospinal fluid leak, made a positive return in the Hostplus Cup last weekend, playing 40 minutes for Ipswich.

He is expected to turn out again against the Sunshine Coast Falcons.

Elsewhere, star forward David Fifita has undergone ankle surgery, ruling him out for the final three rounds. It leaves the Titans with a reshuffled pack at a crucial stage of the season.

With Jolliffe sidelined, the Titans lose one of their most selfless contributors, a player whose hard metres and defensive effort rarely make the headlines but form the backbone of the side’s grind.

His absence will leave a gap that the rest of the pack must now work overtime to fill.
