Gold Coast Titans head coach Des Hasler was left stunned in his post-match press conference following his side's 28-16 loss to the Melbourne Storm in Round 13.
The veteran coach slammed a controversial bunker decision that ruled out a potentially game-changing try to hooker Sam Verrills.
In a tightly contested clash during torrential rain on the Gold Coast, Verrills looked to have darted over from dummy half, only for the try to be overturned for an obstruction by the bunker.

The decision drew protest from Hasler, who vented his frustrations to the media.
"I thought it was the wrong decision," he said.
"Let them lay in the ruck, but you shouldn’t lose the advantage.
"The ball's laid on the ground, they were lying on the ground, six again, penalty, I don't know.
“Papenhuyzen wasn't obstructed and that was the word for word what the NRL set out."
Hasler revealed that he's been in communication with the NRL, in particular David Fairleigh who is a former player and current officiating coach.
"I spoke to David Fairleigh and sent in an email, because there’s a similar play that Melbourne, Big Nas, is very good at," he said.
"I just thought we took that space, I don’t think we contacted anybody.
"(Tino Fa'asuamaleaui) played the ball so he was allowed to hold his ground, I was told."

Hasler took aim at bunker official Kasey Badger and suggested that this wasn't her first mistake in that role.
"Who was in the bunker? Kasey got it wrong - again," he said.
"I will be interested to see what their explanation was."
