Ezra Mam's return to the rugby league field was a rollercoaster.
The 22-year-old lit up Davies Park in his first match back from suspension due to a drug-driving charge, helping Souths-Logan annihilate the Western Clydesdales 66-10.
But the comeback wasn't without controversy, as Mam found himself on report just minutes into the game.
Mam appeared to make high contact with Clydesdales forward Lachlan Mears-Crabbe, booking him a date with the match review committee.

Despite the hiccup, the young five-eight wasted little time reminding fans of his brilliance, bagging a try for himself in the 28th minute.
His familiarity in the Magpies colours made the spectacle even more notable, reminding pundits of his 2021 Rookie of the Year season in Queensland Cup.
Brisbane Broncos coach Michael Maguire, who was non-committal about Mam's return to first grade, was left in urgent need of playmakers after Ben Hunt went down with a hamstring injury on Friday night.
Now, a potential suspension looms for Mam and casts doubt over what was thought to be an easy transition into the Broncos number six jersey once he had a run under his belt in Queensland Cup.

Brisbane's depth will now be seriously tested. With Hunt's injury, Mam's possible suspension and Jock Madden's pectoral tear, Maguire might be asked to call on Josh Rogers who has only made seven first grade appearances.
Another option is 19-year-old Coby Black, who despite showing enormous potential, has yet to debut in the NRL and has only played 12 reserve grade games.
