The Cowboys have extended the contract of versatile outside back Braidon Burns for the 2026 NRL season.
Since joining the club mid-way through 2024, the 29-year-old has provided solid depth for Todd Payten's side, crossing for seven tries in his 12 first grade call-ups.

Despite an injury-interrupted 2025 campaign, Burns has remained a key part of the Cowboys plans moving forward.
North Queensland's general manager of football Michael Luck praised his impact on the squad in a statement released by the club on Thursday.
"Braidon has been nothing but impressive since joining our club mid-way through last season," he said.
"He is a wonderful example for our young players, especially around professionalism and communication.
"On the field, he has a strong carry out of his own end and is a terrific defender whether at wing or centre.
"We are thrilled to secure Braidon’s services for at least another season."
