Benji Marshall didn't hold back after the Tigers' Round 18 win over the Roosters, taking aim at the media over a week of heavy criticism.
The Tigers snapped a losing streak with a 30-28 win, but Marshall's mood quickly changed when a reporter asked about the positive signs that their young players have shown.
"That’s a bit of a flipped script [from the media] from what was happening during the week about letting juniors go," he said.
"You win one game and all of a sudden that changes."

He was particularly frustrated by what he called 'unfair' reporting after the club has been accused of letting promising juniors go.
"I get it, there’s agendas or whatever’s happening, but there was a lot of sh*t that happened during the week that was just not true and unfair," said Marshall.
"We didn’t let any juniors go. They didn’t want to be here, like that’s where it’s at.
“We want guys who want to be here."
Marshall also addressed the speculation around his relationship with playmaker Adam Doueihi.
"The thing with me and Adam [Doueihi] was crazy and we have to defend that," he said.
"It just puts pressure on the club that we don’t need from something that’s not true.
"It gets reported, then every podcast jumps on it and every news article jumps on something that’s not true."
