Mya Lesnar has some strong genes, literally.
Her father, Brock, is a WWE and UFC legend.
So it doesn't seem all that surprising that Mya is mighty strong herself.
On Thursday, she used that strength to full effect. Representing Colorado State, Mya won the NCAA Division I national championship in the women's shot put.
She only needed one throw to toss the longest distance of the day in Eugene, Oregon. Her chuck went 19.01 meters, which is about 62 feet, 4 inches.

That's incredibly impressive.
Entering the national championship meet, Lesnar was ranked 26th in the world in the women's shot put among a competitor list essentially all beyond college except for her.
She can likely shoot for the Olympics down the road, maybe even as soon as 2028 in Los Angeles.
But regardless of what happens next, she'll always have this incredible throw that made her a national champion.
