Paige Bueckers and the Wings face a stiff test against the vaunted Liberty on Tuesday night.
Bueckers enters the showdown playing some of the best basketball of her rookie season. She's scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games, capped by a 22-point outing in her most recent game Friday.
Dallas will need every bit of production out of Buckers to topple the Liberty, who own the league's second-best record at 18-10. New York on Sunday snapped a four-game losing streak behind a 36-point, 11-assist performance from Sabrina Ionescu.
The Wings are seeking their second win over the Liberty in the last eight days having notched an impressive 10-point victory on July 28. Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale each dropped 20 points in the win.
