With this stunning performance, Bueckers is now closing in on a major WNBA milestone held by Caitlin Clark. Last season, Clark set the record as the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 100 points and 50 assists, doing so in just eight games.
Bueckers has played seven games so far this season and has already racked up 123 points and 46 assists. If she records just four more assists in her next game against the Las Vegas Aces tomorrow night, she will tie Clark’s record for the quickest player to reach the 100-point, 50-assist mark in only eight games.
