Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky entered Sunday's contest just 2-7 after three consecutive blowout losses, and some frustration was evident from Reese against the Sun.
The Sky standout took exception to an apparent hair pull by Connecticut guard Bria Hartley, getting in Hartley's face after a rebound attempt. The interaction devolved into a scuffle involving more Sun players.
Reese held her own in the first half, tying her career-high with five assists in just one half and keeping the Sky very much in the game against the Sun. Chicago had lost its previous three games by an average of 21.3 points.
Here's a closer look at Reese's scuffle with the Sun on Sunday.

Angel Reese hair pull vs. Connecticut Sun
Reese got in Hartley's face after the Sun guard got hold of her hair during a rebound attempt late in the first half.
Sun center Olivia Nelson-Odoba tried to get between Reese and Hartley, but Reese quickly shoved her out of the way, resulting in an even larger scene. Cameras captured Sun veteran Tina Charles yelling toward Reese as players and officials tried to settle it all down.

Reese has faced plenty of criticism early in the WNBA season, both for her efficiency issues and her reaction to a May spat with Caitlin Clark, but she showed progress with an efficient 17 points in a loss to the Liberty on Tuesday and impressed early Sunday with one of the most well-rounded performances of her career.
The scuffle with the Sun took some attention away from Reese's nice day, but she didn't let it distract her as the Sky looked to snap their losing streak against the struggling Sun.
