New York Liberty fans are trying to speak a Caitlin Clark blockbuster trade into existence.

From the moment Clark traded during the WNBA All-Star Draft to get Liberty head coach Sandy Brondello on her side, Liberty fans have been thinking about a big move.

This post on X has gone pretty viral:

And it's far from the only one that thinks or hopes it could happen.

The Liberty have proven they can bring in superstars from other teams when they become available.

Could Clark be next? It'd probably take some serious bumps in the road in Indiana, where she seems to appreciate her teammates and wants to accomplish great things.

It's hard to see the future, though, so maybe there's a universe where Clark goes looking for a fresh start and decides to try out the big city.

She'd certainly be a perfect match in the WNBA's eyes, absolutely maximizing the amount of eyes keeping an eye on the league.

But for now, Clark doesn't appear likely to go to the Liberty anytime soon.
