Napheesa Collier beats WNBA MVP drum, dominates Sparks: 'Can't be stopped' image

Napheesa Collier just might be unstoppable.

The Minnesota Lynx put on a show against the Los Angeles Sparks Saturday, inspiring even the WNBA to post on X, "Napheesa Collier can't be stopped... absolute domination vs. the Sparks" ahead of the half. Collier had racked up 26 points (the same as the Sparks boasted... as a team), 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The performance certainly was another step toward what is beginning to feel like an inevitability: Collier is so far the front runner for MVP this season, and if she keeps performing like this (or even at half this level), she will make a strong case for herself.

The Lynx ultimately beat the Sparks 101-76.
