The Minnesota Lynx have waived French rookie Marieme Badiane, who has played in three games for the team so far this season.

Despite receiving playing time, Badiane failed to score any points in those games. She has played for several overseas clubs, including BLMA, ASVEL, Mondeville and Roche Vendee, and most recently played for Fenerbahce, where she helped her team win the EuroLeage Championship.

The Lynx are currently 7-0 and the team's Napheesa Collier is making a run for 2025 MVP. Collier has played with the Lynx since the team drafted her as the No. 6 overall pick in 2019.

The team has a bit of a break this week, and will next face the Dallas Wings at College Park Center on Sunday, June 8. It is unclear if the team plans to immediately replace Badiane.
