Newest Caitlin Clark injury update only adds to confusion surrounding her return image

The Indiana Fever's coach Stephanie White spoke to reporters following the team's practice Monday, and, naturally, everyone wanted to know if and when Caitlin Clark will return to the court. Clark injured her right groin during the team's most recent game against the Connecticut Sun, her fourth injury of the season.

Unfortunately, White didn't have a lot of information to give. "No updates, I think she's meeting with some doctors today and tomorrow. So no updates in addition to yesterday," White said.

(On Sunday White told reporters Clark planned to see multiple doctors to consult on the injury, and that she is not expected to play in the Fever's game against the Liberty on Tuesday.)

White also said Clark's return is not in her hands and that "I don't presume to give any time tables. It's whatever the medical staff says, that's what I go by."

That's tough news for Fever fans who want to see Clark back and hitting 3s, but hopefully it means she will get to the bottom of her repeat injuries, heal up, and be completely ready the next time she takes the floor.
