After nine games with the Indiana Fever (three starting and six off the bench), WNBA vet and 2-time Champion DeWanna Bonner is reportedly set to depart the team.
The news was shared by WNBA reporter Annie Costabile, who cited "multiple league sources."
"According to multiple league sources, the Indiana Fever and DeWanna Bonner are headed for a breakup," Costabile shared on X.
Costabile noted Bonner's agent has not commented on the situation.
Bonner was signed to the Fever during a huge free agency season earlier this year. She followed head coach Stephanie White to the team from the Connecticut Sun.
Bonner is reportedly interested in playing for the Phoenix Mercury (alongside her partner, Alyssa Thomas) or the Atlanta Dream.
