Caitlin Clark will miss at least two weeks of WNBA action, news that has disappointed fans – but that also gives those same fans the opportunity to support the rest of the Fever as Clark heals up.

The injury means Coach Stephanie White will have to put one or two members of the team in Clark's role, something she likely spent part of the preseason preparing for. When it comes to who can take over until Clark is healed, the team has options:

Kelsey Mitchell

Mitchell is no stranger to running the Fever's offense and has already seen time on the ball in recent games. She's a fan favorite and a strong member of the Fever who can more than pick up the hole that will be left by Clark's absence. 

Sophie Cunningham

There's been some online chatter about Cunningham assuming more of a point guard role on the Fever, and Clark's recovery might give the former Mercury star the chance to prove it, especially as back-up for Mitchell.

Sydney Colson

Colson is the Fever's back-up player on the bench and a logical choice as someone who can and will step in for Clark as she recovers. This will give Fever fans a proper introduction to the former Aces hooper, who hasn't seen a plethora of minutes so far this season.
