Caitlin Clark admits it will "take a second" for her to return to top form image

Caitlin Clark was honest about what went wrong during the Indiana Fever's 81-60 loss to the Golden State Valkyries Wednesday — and also about the fact that it might take some time before she's back at top form.

"It's going to take me a second to get my wind back," Clark told reporters following the game. "There's not really anything that can replicate it [better] than a true game."

Clark added that she tried to "play shorter stints" but "sometimes it's almost harder to sit on the bench than to come back into the game."

Clark returned to the court for the Fever after missing several games due to a groin injury — her second injury of the season so far.
