It's high school softball championship weekend across the CIF-Southern Section.
With half of 2025's section finals having been played on Friday, Saturday brings a 12-hour, four-game extravaganza for Southern California softball fans. As usual, it takes place at Deanna Manning Stadium in Irvine's Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park, adjacent to Irvine Civic Center.
The weekend will close with the Division 1 title game as perennial national title contender Norco (28-3) is a slight favorite against another public school heavyweight that has lived up to the immense hype it entered 2025 with – El Modena (22-8).
