Get ready for a four-day baseball marathon, as the Ohio high school playoffs wind to a close with semifinal and championship action.
Twenty-one games across seven divisions will be played at Canal Park in Akron, beginning on Thursday, June 12. A champion will be crowned at each level by the end of the day on Sunday, June 15.
The state tournament action will feature some of the best outfits across Ohio. At the Division 3 level, Badin — the top-ranked team in the state — will take on Licking Valley to kickstart an eight-game slate on Friday. Later that day, second-ranked Anthony Wayne battles Walsh Jesuit in the Division 2 semifinals.
Other teams are looking to match their revelatory success in the '24 tournament, like Hiland, which is eyeing back-to-back-to-back championships.
Upsets created chaos in the Division 1 bracket, leading to much-anticipated, albeit unexpected, semifinal matchups. That includes Olentangy going head-to-head with Lakota West on Saturday afternoon.
