The top high school baseball players in the San Diego Section of the California Interscholastic Federation will compete in All-Star Night on Wednesday, June 25.
The event, which includes a typical All-Star Game as well as a Home Run Derby, will take place at scenic Petco Park immediately following Wednesday's Padres-Nationals game. The HR Derby is slated to begin at 5 p.m. PT, with the All-Star Game set to begin after the completion of the derby.
A pool of 48 players will be divided into two teams according to an East-West format. La Jolla Country Day's John Edman will coach the West team, while Mater Dei Catholic's Eddie Johnson leads the East team. For complete rosters, click here.
