Waukee Northwest standout Colin Rice picks up two more Div. I offers recently, adding to his total which is now up to 10.

The latest schools to produce official offers to Rice are Illinois and Colorado. They join the likes of Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern and Saint Louis with having shown serious interest in the 6-foot-8 power forward who will be a senior in the fall.

"After a great call with Coach Underwood and Coach Hamer I'm blessed to say I have received an offer from the University of Illinois," Rice posted on his social media page. "After a great conversation with Coach Boyle I'm blessed to say I have received an offer from Colorado University."

Last year with the Wolves, Rice helped the team reach the Class 4A state championship game where they lost to West Des Moines Valley. He posted 12.5 points per game with a team-high 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and over a steal per game.

Rice shot 54 percent from the field and was a 38-percent shooter from the 3-point line. He was fourth on the team with 34 made 3-pointers and will be one of three returning starters alongside Mack Heitland and Landon Davis.
