There has just been no stopping Branson boys basketball this summer.
After going 4-0 the previous weekend to win a Section 7 ABCA bracket title, the reigning CIF-NCS D3 champs went 4-0 again in the last weekend of June to claim a title in the Destination Irvine bracket at California Live.

Junior point guard NJ Gray was Branson's top star at Cali Live, scoring 17 points in the title game to win 67-63 against Campbell Hall.
Before that, the Bulls opened with a 63-60 defeat of Village Christian, a 71-59 win over Westlake, and a 54-45 victory against Menlo-Atherton. It was a weekend of executing in nothing but close games in a deep bracket. The other Destination Irvine teams were Cornerstone Christian, St. Monica, Foothill, Ygnacio Valley, Murrieta Valley, Lincoln, Santa Fe Christian, San Clemente, Oaks Christian, Weston Ranch, and St. Anthony.
It's safe to say Branson made the most of the live period in front of hundreds of Division I scouts and coaches. Don't expect any complacency come winter as the Bulls are in good shape to once again raise the bar for their program and the entire North Bay.

Super proud of this group. They have shown so much growth in the last year. Winning our bracket in both major summer high school tournaments is a huge accomplishment. Time to get back in that gym and get better!! pic.twitter.com/zcHpl4UPl7
