Another week and another No. 1 has moved to the top of the Class 4A Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association rankings. This time, it is Pleasant Valley, that has replaced Cedar Rapids Prairie.

The Spartans have started the year off 18-3 overall, slowly making their way up the ladder to the top spot. Cedar Rapids Prairie dropped to No. 2 with Iowa City High, Sioux City East and Johnston rounding out the Top 5.

In the other three classes, the No. 1 teams all remained the same in Dubuque Wahlert (3A), Underwood (2A) and Remsen St. Mary's (1A).

The only newcomer to the rankings this week is Iowa City Liberty, as they are rated eighth in 4A.
