With WWE and AEW taking over in the U.S., New Japan Pro Wrestling thriving overseas, and other promotions providing entertainment, it has never been a better time to be a pro wrestling fan. SiriusXM understands this and looks to capitalize on it.
SiriusXM recently announced the launch of "Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7," a channel dedicated to pro wrestling.
The channel is based on the success of the “Busted Open” wrestling show hosted by Dave LaGreca. Debuting in 2009, “Busted Open” has featured co-hosts Bully Ray, Mark Henry, and Tommy Dreamer.
“The appetite for wrestling content continues to increase, and we’re able to uniquely meet the demand of those fans by delivering a new 24/7 channel just for them,” said Jared Fox, SVP, Sports Programming, Content Marketing & Partnerships, and Artist Relations for SiriusXM.
“We have a long track record of building dedicated sports channels that fans love. Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 will be the next great SiriusXM sports channel, producing compelling and exclusive new content daily and giving fans a place to call in and let their voices be heard as well.”
Not only will LaGreca, Ray, Henry, and Dreamer have voices on the show, but so will plenty of wrestling personalities. Sam Roberts, Peter Rosenberg, and Jonathan Coachman will have versions of their podcasts on the channel.
Meanwhile, wrestlers like Nic Nemeth, Thunder Rosa, Tom Pestock, Natalya, Matt Cardona, and others will either serve as co-hosts or host their own segments.
Here is everything you need to know about listening to pro wrestling on SiriusXM and a full list of sports channels that are currently available for subscribers.
