Want more USWNT action? Schedule them in for June. The team will face the Republic of Ireland on the 26th and 29th in Commerce City, Colorado, and Cincinnati for more summer matches.
The meetings are more than just soccer, they're homecoming games. Lindsey Heaps, Sophia Wilson and Mallory Swanson began their careers in the Rockies while Rose Lavelle is a Cincinnati-native.
All four will be getting a warm welcome when they return. Additionally, the Colorado match is a welcome-home for women's soccer as Denver is the NWSL's newest expansion team, set to take the pitch in 2026.
The last time the USWNT faced Ireland was April of 2023 ahead of the Women's World Cup. The 15th meeting, the Americans have won every match.
The Irish, ranked 26th in the world, will certainly have a chip on their shoulder, though. The squad fell to Wales in the Euro's playoff series, making them available to go during the summer window. A focused, Katie McCabe-led team is dangerous, and Denise O'Sullivan, a player for the NC Courage, is quite familiar with playing on U.S. soil.
