Tickets for 'Postcard from Earth' at Sphere: Cheapest costs, seats, dates for film showings in Las Vegas

When Sphere was built, the intention was to make whatever takes place in it as immersive of an experience as possible. That is what "Postcard from Earth" was literally made for. The 2023 film will entertain at the Las Vegas venue this summer. 

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, "Postcard from Earth" features two astronauts learning about the history of life on Earth as they embark on a new adventure to bring life into the new world. 

It is the latest experience at Sphere. The venue has hosted U2, Phish, "The Wizard of Oz," Backstreet Boys, and more. "Postcard from Earth" will make you feel part of Earth's history, from weather patterns to animals right beside you.

"I didn't really know what it was when it first came to me. It just sounded kind of bananas," Aronofsky told Variety. "The ambition was just wild. But, like everyone, I had no idea what an 18K image would look like on a screen four football fields large, wrapping around you. I really couldn't imagine the resolution or what it would be. It was more like, OK, someone's building this and wants to make something intense. 

"The story possibilities are what I think intrigued me. There's so many cliches about Vegas; I felt one thing that wasn't there was a natural history show on the planet. But I wanted to figure out a way to do things differently… How do we sort of blend fiction and documentary and make something new?"

"Postcard from Earth" will emanate from Sphere in Las Vegas through the summer. Sphere can hold between 17,600 to 20,000 people. 

Tickets for "Postcard from Earth" are available now on StubHub. 

To give a good idea how much tickets are, the first show on June 20 has ticket prices starting at $128 and reaching up to $355. 

A show on July 4 has ticket prices starting at $128. Meanwhile, a show on August 27 has ticket prices starting at $130.
