The Strokes El Paso tickets: How to buy, best prices, date for Austin City Limits preview concert image

Legendary. That's one word to describe the iconic rock band, The Strokes. Illusive may also be another one as the band only performs select shows nowadays, 27 years after their start. This year, that changes.

Not only is the band set to star at Austin City Limits, the group will also perform two "warm-up" concerts ahead of the festival. El Paso, Texas, is the site of one of those shows. The Strokes will perform at Abraham Chavez Theatre on Oct. 1 just days ahead of ACL.

The group, based out of New York City, has lasted the test of time. They became one of the most popular rock bands of the early 2000s, earning praise from all over with their debut album Is This It.
